Terms and conditions of the sale

Definitions:

  1. “Buyer” means the person or company from whom an order is accepted by the seller.
  2. “Sellers” means Dresser Mouldings Rochdale Ltd.
  3. “Goods” Means the articles or products supplied by the seller to the buyer.
  4. “Order” means the order placed by the buyer for the supply of the goods.

The seller always supplies to length!

Pricing:

Although the seller makes every effort to ensure that published prices and quotes are as accurate as possible the seller reserves the right to refuse the sale or mis-priced or mis-quoted goods.

In the case of all products sold, unless the seller expressly provides otherwise the price payable by the buyer for each delivery shall be the seller’s current price at the date of despatch.

The seller reserves the right by giving notice to the buyer at any time before delivery to increase the price of the product/products to reflect any increase in the cost to the seller which is due to any factor beyond the control of the seller.

Payment terms:

Where the buyer is placing an order from stock payment will need to be made prior to order confirmation and despatch.

Payment Method:

Payment is accepted by credit card payment only.

Delivery:

We aim to deliver stock items within 3/4 working days on receipt of your order. In cases where items are unavailable we will advise you of a lead time.

We use various methods of delivery when delivering our goods, these include the use of its own vehicles and also independent carrier services.

In all cases the goods will be delivered to the nominated address specified at time of purchase. It will be the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that there is adequate labour when transferring goods unloaded from delivering vehicle. Such unloading will be kerbside only and the supplier or carrier will not be responsible for any further movement.

Any delivery date or delivery times are for guidance only and the supplier shall not be responsible for any cost incurred by the buyer in the event of a late delivery. Should the buyer be unavailable to accept the goods at the time of delivery then the buyer shall bear the cost of any redelivery.

Cancellation Policy:

Where the buyer wishes to cancel and return goods purchased the buyer will be liabel to a 10% restocking charge.

Returns policy:

Where the buyer has received his order and no longer requires all or part of the order then this may be returned at the discretion of the seller. If a return is agreed then the buyer has to arrange transport back to the seller’s premises at the buyer’s expense. Once goods have been accepted back the returned goods will be inspected by the seller who will determine if any credit is due.

Where the buyer receives sub standard or incorrect goods they should inform the seller within 7 days, the seller will arrange collection of goods & on return to seller’s premises for further inspection. If items are sub standard or incorrect the seller will replace or refund to the value.

Where the buyer has used or installed the goods then this shall be taken as evidence that the buyer has accepted the goods and are in perfect condition. The buyer is responsible for checking that the goods are suitable for purpose.

General:

The seller supplies a natural product and as such these products will contain natural variances in colour with natural defects and character changes from piece to piece. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that they are fully aware when purchasing a product/products they are likely to have variation in colour and texture in any one species supplied. Small samples are not always a true reflection of the overall appearance of the goods and as such can only be used as a guide.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the goods are used/installed correctly and the seller will not be responsible for any misuse or incorrect installation methods. Any advice given by the seller is for guidance only.
