Vacuum coater: Our coatings facilities & services are unrivaled we provide a fully controlled factory finishing service both external & internal coatings. We maintain complete control & integrity of the quality processes & are able to deliver a complete finish ready for installation.
The object of a Vacuum coater is to apply a full factory paint finish to timber materials either by lacquering, staining or priming. A vacuum coater works by applying the paint into a paint chambers in the machine, as the timber passes through the chamber paint is applied to all 4 sides. A combination of heat, vacuum pressure & feed speed will determine the paint build & the quality of the finish.
Once material passes through the first chambers, it enters drying chambers where drying of the material takes place. After a full factory coating has been applied the finished timber will remain in drying chambers until the curing has been completed. To complete the process all goods are sealed using the manufactures end seal, goods are packed in protected crates & each layer separated for protection, all despatched goods will carry a full site guide for storage & installation along with touch up paint & onsite end seal for any cut section on site.
Automatic Spray line: We realised the only way to grow the business was through differentiation, cutting edge technology & A top quality finishing system. The new finishing line is special in many ways, it allows hand fed products up to 300mm wide. The spray machine is fitted with two separate spray circuits which enable fast colour changes; the line is able to deal with MDF, softwood & hardwood timbers & in accordance with our environmental policy, the new automatic coating line is designed to run exclusively with water based paints & lacquers.
The object of an automatic spray-line is to apply a full factory finish to timber materials. A spray line can provide small bespoke runs & is used mainly in the internal market of water based lacquered finishes including tinted lacquers on Oak, Ash Beech & other hardwood & softwood species. Automatic spray guns will spray 3 sides in one pass, more recently the spray line has been used on a number of external facades where all 4 faces are seen & finish is critical on all faces.
