Since expanding the Dresser business into larger premises we have been able to develop our assembly portfolio to offer a genuine one stop shop. Further investment during 2014 in installing a finishing line along with new moulding equipment has helped us achieve the kind of finish our customers demand and expect.
- Bonding: Using our Taylor press has allowed us to bond in lengths up to 5 metres, we use all the latest laminating techniques to bond in widths up to a maximum of 900mm. Although we use most standard D4 glues more and more we are responding to the use of more engineered materials such as Accoya. Dresser have worked with specialist glue providers to ensure the right types of glues are used on applications such as the (link) Southport project.
- Sanding: The Company has various sanding machines and uses its automatic Boere wide belt sander to provide rough and fine sanded finishes up to 1.2 wide.
- Door Apertures: All bead production is produced in house before making the door aperture using the latest Hoffman automatic saw, the Hoffman machine provides a dovetail key joint and assembled before finally finishing using our spray facilities to either lacquer, stain or prime.
- Bespoke Assembly, using a wide range of classic machines including our Maka 5 Axis CNC machine we are able to produce a number of Arch or Curved Frames. We are also able to manufacture a wide range of compound angles including drilling & assembly. During 2014 Dresser introduced a number of curved kitchen components in solid wood using the latest CNC 5 axis machinery.
